Spring in Louisiana is a great time to relax in the backyard with friends and family. If you are looking for patio furniture to make your backyard time more relaxing, you may not want to purchase from Home Depot without reading this article. A national product recall has been issued on some patio furniture models.
Dimension Industries produces patio set rockers that are being recalled. The patio sets are sold exclusively at Home Depot as the Hampton Bay-branded Niles Park Collection, from Oct. 2014 to Jan. 2015. The set is bronze and made of cast aluminum and woven fabric, with brown or ta cushions. The patio was sold in one of the following combinations: four rocking chairs and a tile-top fire pit, a love seat and a rectangular coffee table and two rocking chairs. Consumers also had the option to purchase a set of two rockers separately.
The problem with the rocking chair is that it can break during regular use. The company has received several reports of the rocking chair breaking. No injuries have been reported from users of the broken chairs. The chairs are manufactured in China and imported by Home Depot of Atlanta. Consumers who have these potentially defective chairs can contact the company for a full refund.
Everyday consumers are injured by defective products. Consumers do not need to suffer in silence. It may be the right time to assert your legal rights by seeking the advice of a product liability attorney. The law may limit the time that you have to seek a legal remedy, so it is important not to delay seeking legal counsel.
